TESTIMONIALS FOR SAN-JITSU AND GRANDMASTER FRANK E. SANCHEZ

We support Soke Frank Sanchez

3/5/2021 facebook post from Prof. Gary Lee of the Sport Karate Museum in Texas, made on the Martial Arts Sharing & Caring Site

Soke Frank Sanchez was a very dedicated student of my Dad, Sensei Moon. It was with great pleasure that Sensei Moon was acknowledged as an "Honorary Member of the World Head of Family/Sokeship Council." To me and Dad it is important for all to understand the "Honorary Sokeship Recognition." Soke Frank is lineage of my Dad, our Judo family and immediate family.

Soke my friend,

In those early years when you first came to the Gathering, if you remember correctly, Prof. Cerio sent me up to Uki for you! If anybody were to question your skill I want to sit and watch the show! LOL Because I know first hand what you and your craft feel like! But then again, I've always been known as a little cooky with the whole pain and the pleasure thing! LOLOLOL

Hi Grandmaster,

......Thank you for all of the training you provided for me in the past, it has truly been helpful in my life. I look forward to the day when I will be able to train in San-Jitsu again. I recently signed up for a few more years in the Marines so I can see if it is truly what I want to do for the rest of my life and will be moving back to Norfolk, VA. in the middle of next year. Please send my best wishes to the whole family. Thanks.

Hi Professor,

……Of all the people I know, you are doing the most to bring unity and a high degree of professionalism to the martial art world. You deserve all the recognition that comes your way. It seems that there are a tried and true group of people who continue to do the hard work of organizing and promoting martial arts for the betterment of the community at large, and you are definitely one of them. Thank you for all you have done for so many people, and for all you have done to keep our standards high. I consider it a true honor to know you.

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Ron Van Clief and I have known Grandmaster Sanchez for over a decade. He is an honorable man and a true grandmaster of the martial arts. Sanjitsu is the art that he created to give his homeland Guam a legacy rich in tradition. He has created the World Sokeship Council which has more masters and grandmasters as members than any other organization in the world. He is a brilliant and sensitive human being. Without men like Grandmaster Sanchez the world of the martial arts would certainly be deficient. I am a 5 time world champion and a 15 time all american champion and he is indeed a grandmaster of the highest order. Thank you so very much for your consideration......

Sincerely,

Grand Master,

I just wanted to say hi and tell you that I’m o.k. and I’ve been thinking about you guy’s and what a great experience I had training in your dojo. Life has thrown me many challenges since the last time I’ve spoken with you but all is well…….The training I experienced has helped me deal with some of the tough things that life has thrown at me……

Hello Grandmaster Sanchez,

I hope this message finds you in good health and prosperity. I was a former student of yours in Jacksonville at your Ft. Caroline dojo years ago. Though I was only able to receive your teaching for about three months, it has had a profound effect on my life thus far. My life pulled me away from Florida at the time of my departure from training and sent me to West Virginia State University to attend school and follow my dream of becoming a professional golfer. I have learned much about the art of golf through the words of wisdom you imparted to me during our training and our private talks before and after classes. I was surprised at how much my brief martial training prepared my mind to handle the stress of competitions and the rigorous training that I endure in my continuous improvement. I intend to move back to Jacksonville upon my graduation next year, and I am very excited to resume my training with you. I have yet to meet another teacher with the sincerity and mental toughness you possess, as I have been to many schools here in WV looking to expound upon the start I received under your teaching. Most lack the ability to see a student's true potential and be completely honest with them, as they are seeking money as the sole basis for their teaching. I would like very much to continue my training through the use of your videos, so that I may prepare myself for the return to formal training again. I have worked the beginning stages of what I was taught for years, both mentally and physically. I feel I would greatly benefit from any of your continued instruction. Please advise me of the steps necessary in order to purchase these videos. I am eagerly awaiting seeing you again and resuming my training. I wish you peace and abundance in all areas.

Sincerely,

Soke Sanchez,

I am not sure if you remember me ot not. My Name is Roy Pack. I was a 2nd Dan Shotokan instructor at UMAI in Jacksonville and student of Shihan Rick Hallman in Aido Ryu Jujutsu. This was from 1991 to 1993. I also studied under Master Tony Arnett as much as possible, Master Joe DeGuzman, and took every opportunity to glean knowledge and tidbits from yourself and Master Martini. I was a part of the AMAA that was started and is now gone. I see you are doing well and I hope this email finds you in good health. I just wanted to take a moment and say hello sir and to thank you for your influence so many years ago. I am now a Rokudan and have started my own Jujutsu Organization. Many of the little things I was able to pick up from you so long ago are now taught to my students. I never had the opportunity to say thank you and I wish to do so now. Thanks from the bottom of a martial artist's heart,

Shihan Roy Pack

……Keep this in mind, whenever we step foot into the dojo, we are under Soke's instruction. We should regard all aspects as "molding us" in our training and from time to time that includes criticism, regardless if it’s constructive or not. We should be thankful that he cares and loves each one of us to discipline us for the sake of correction. That is how we know that he loves us like his own. Other schools may only care enough to collect your tuition and let you go on thinking whatever as long as you keep on paying. In closing, continue to train hard in Soke's art of San-Jitsu. He and his art are without a doubt the genuine article.
